SK Hercidin announced in February this year to invest 4.7549 trillion won, signed with ASML as of 2025 EUV equipment supply contract. The number of EUV application layers that is expected to be SK will be further increased.

With the expansion of the semiconductor manufacturers to EUV applications, the demand for ASML technical support and maintenance personnel increases. Since ASML is an exclusive supplier of EUV equipment, both companies can only rely on ASML to provide technical support and maintenance. By 2025, ASML will invest 240 billion won, establish EUV clusters in Beijing, South Korea, so the recruitment speed will also accelerate.

This trend is not limited to the Korean area, and the ASML is also recruiting horses in the Taiwan, and the ASML local company has plans to increase technicians to 600 before the end of the year. The number of engineers is expected to increase by 20% before, reaching 3,400.
