November 14, 2022 – MediaTek releases the T800 5G platform, which supports 5G Sub-6GHz and millimeter wave networks, enabling more innovative 5G applications worldwide. Carrying the excellent characteristics of the previous generation of T700, the T800 has high-speed and energy efficiency performance, and can drive 5G application scenarios such as the Industrial Internet of Things, Machine to Machine (M2M), and fully connected PC.

The MediaTek T800 platform provides an advanced 5G solution with a downlink rate of up to 7.9Gbps. It is equipped with MediaTek 5G UltraSave low-power and power-saving technology, which can reduce 5G communication power consumption under different network conditions, bringing high-speed and stable 5G long endurance experience.

Based on the advanced 4nm process, the T800 uses the powerful Arm Cortex-A55 CPU, supports PCIe, USB and other interfaces, and integrates 5G modems, FR1 and FR2 RF transceivers, FR2 antenna modules, GNSS receivers and power management systems that meet the 3GPP Release-16 standard. The highly integrated design enables the T800 to have smaller size and lower power consumption performance, which can help customers reduce development costs and accelerate the process of going to market.
