UK firm wins military terminal contract in Canada

General Dynamics will provide the Canadian armed forces with the Strategic Deployable Terminals (SDTs) as part of its In-Service Support (ISS) in the final stage of the Mercury Global (MG) Project to deliver military satellite communications (SATCOM) wideband capabilities.

Available in three sizes (small, medium and large) in multi-band configurations, the terminals will allow the Canadian armed forces to deliver voice, image and data between deployed operations and commanders back in Canada.
