On September 6th, Huawei officially released the world's first Bluetooth & low-efficiency Bluetooth wireless chip, the Kirin A1 chip, at the IFA 2019 conference in Berlin, Germany, with excellent anti-jamming capability and high-performance dual-channel Bluetooth connectivity. The year-on-year delay is reduced by 30%, the transmission rate is increased by 2.8 times, and the lossless high-definition sound quality is reproduced!
Huawei's consumer business CEO Yu Chengdong also demonstrated the first wireless headset FreeBuds 3 equipped with the Kirin A1 chip, which is small in size and powerful. With an open earbud design, it is the world's first true wireless headset with an open design that supports active noise reduction, effectively eliminating ambient noise.
Compared to AirPods 2, Huawei FreeBuds 3 charges faster, lasts longer and has a lower latency. It is understood that Freebuds 3 can enable two-way Bluetooth connection, which has the advantage of reducing latency by 30% and power consumption by 50%. However, these advantages can only be reflected when connecting Huawei phones.
In addition, each headset in Freebuds 3 provides up to 15dB of ambient noise reduction with latency as low as 190ms. It also works with a bone sensor to detect the vocal vibrations of the wearer and thereby enhance the clarity of the call.
In terms of endurance, the Freebuds 3 can last for 4 hours and comes with a 20-hour battery life.
It is understood that this headset has two colors in black and white, and some regions will be sold next month.
