Wu Xionggang pointed out that Arm currently has more than 200 partners in China. The cumulative number of chips sold by Chinese customers based on Arm technology exceeds 16 billion, and 95% of domestic chips are based on the Arm architecture.
At the same time, Wu Xiong Ang said that Arm is the only non-US computing platform, and after legal investigation, regardless of whether the v8 or v9 architecture is derived from British technology, Arm will continue to provide authorization and service support to Chinese enterprises as in the past.
In addition, at today's technology summit, Arm also released the Ethos-N57/Ethos-N37NPUs (neural unit system), Mail-G57GPU (graphics processor), Mali-D37DPU (visual core) processor IP design.
It is reported that the N57 is mainly for mid-end mobile phone products and smart home hubs; the N37 is for digital TV (DTV) and smart cameras; and the Mali-G57 GPU brings a better immersive experience to the consumer class, targeting VR (Virtual Reality) provides viewpoint rendering support.
At the same time, Arm's Mali-D37DPU is currently the smallest DPU (Visual Core Processing) for low-end devices such as entry-level smartphones, tablets or small displays with a resolution of less than 2K.
