It is reported that GIS previously provided touch-fitting services for the iPhone, but as Apple switched to the iPhone's in-cell touch design (In-cell) and canceled the 3D sensing function, and even replaced face recognition with fingerprint recognition, GIS hurt. Lost iPhone orders, this time, it is expected to return to the iPhone chain through fingerprint recognition under the ultrasound screen, driving the explosion of performance.

Compared with optical screen fingerprints, Qualcomm's solution is more secure, and it is an ultrasonic screen. Fingerprints have strong penetrability and high resistance to stains. Although it's unclear whether next year's new iPhone will adopt a partial or full-screen fingerprint recognition solution, since ultrasonic technology is only applicable to OLED display panels, this means that the new sensor may be limited to high-end iPhone models.
