Another employee of Samsung Gumi Plant was confirmed to be infected with the new crown virus, and the current operation is not affected

Feb 02 55
According to the Yonhap News Agency, confirmed cases of E.coli virus appeared again at the Samsung Gumi plant, but Samsung decided not to close the plant and operate normally.

It is understood that the confirmed employee was an employee of the Wireless Division of the Gumi Second Factory. He was previously suspected of having contact with the infected person, so he began self-quarantine from the 28th last month. A person in charge of Samsung said that the employee has not been to the factory since February 25, and therefore will not take measures to close the factory. This is Samsung's seventh confirmed employee. Due to the spread of the epidemic, Samsung previously stated that it would temporarily move part of Gumi's high-end smartphone production to Vietnam for production.
