Renesas Electronics Group (TSE: 6723), the world's leading supplier of semiconductor solutions, today announced the further expansion of its powerful RF amplifier product line with the introduction of a new product F1490, which can provide a quiescent current (75mA) far lower than competing products. As the second-generation high-gain 2-stage RF amplifier, F1490 covers the key sub-6GHz 5G frequency band from 1.8GHz to 5.0GHz. F1490 simplifies the device selection of the transmit link, eliminates the gain module and maintains the gain margin for designers, and provides two optional gain modes, thereby bringing greater flexibility, lower power consumption and more powerful system design performance.

F1490 RF amplifier is designed to operate in the frequency range of 1.8GHz and 5.0GHz, with high gain, high linearity and high bandwidth, which is very suitable for FDD and TDDsub-6GHz5G applications.
