The Economic Daily reported that TSMC announced its July results, with revenue of NT$105.963 billion (the same below), a decrease of 12.3% from the previous month, but a year-on-year increase of 25%. Cumulative revenue in the first seven months of this year reached 727.259 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 33.6%.

TSMC had previously expected that its third-quarter revenue would benefit from being driven by 5G mobile phones, high-performance computing and IoT-related applications, as well as strong demand for 5nm and 7nm processes.

TSMC expects its revenue in the third quarter to reach US$11.2 to US$11.5 billion, and its revenue in the third quarter is expected to grow by 7.9% to 10.8% compared to the second quarter.
