According to digitimes, thanks to the continued fermentation of the "home economy", coupled with the launch of brand manufacturers' new machines and game consoles, demand for data centers and servers is strong. Major passive component manufacturers Yageo and Huaxinke both had August revenues compared with last month. Growth, the visibility of orders in the third quarter is clear, and the single-quarter revenue is expected to continue to write good results.
It is reported that, benefiting from strong demand for mobile phones, NB/PC, power management/charging, servers, increased customer sourcing efforts, and gradual improvement of factory production capacity and inventory, Yageo’s August revenue was NT$7.295 billion, an increase of 4.1% each year. Increased by 114%. Looking forward to the fourth quarter, uncertain factors such as the epidemic situation and the Sino-US trade war still exist. Yageo will continue to observe and make dynamic adjustments.
According to the report, the revenues of the original Yageo and Kemei are both showing an upward trend, accounting for about 6 to 3, and the proportion will not change drastically in the future. After New Yageo merged with Kemei, the current MLCC market share reached 15%, ranking third in total production, second only to Murata Manufacturing (31%) and Samsung Electro-Mechanics (19%).
As NB-related demand is stronger than the previous quarter, and 5G-related demand continues to heat up, Huaxinke's visibility of orders on hand has been clear for one quarter, and the demand for MLCC and LTCC is strong, and the current expansion plan is still ongoing. The company's August revenue reached NT$3.41 billion, an increase of 1.4% monthly and an annual increase of 39.7%. Looking forward to the fourth quarter, if the epidemic continues, orders for NB and game consoles driven by the "home economy" will continue.
With strong terminal demand, passive component manufacturers Yageo and Huaxinke are expected to continue their good Q3 revenue
